Chapter 1


The Ronin Warriors grew up to be bright young men. They were each able to find the girl of his dreams. Even the warlords were able to find a wife.
Ryo married Risa. She has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. Together they had a son and they called him Adam. He has black hair like both of his parents and bright blue eyes. Adam really liked sports and played football, basketball, and baseball for the school.
Sage married a girl named Jessica. Jessica had chin long brown hair and bright blue eyes. Together they had a son named Kaji. Kaji had shoulder length blond hair that was always pulled back into a ponytails with light blue eyes. Kaji was on the fencing and Kendo team.
Cye married a girl named Calica. Calica had waist length light purple hair and blue eyes. Together they had a son named Ardeth. Ardeth had dark purple hair that was cut at the ear and shaved under and light blue eyes. He joined the oceanography club.
Rowen married a girl named Sarafu. Sarafu had long light blue hair and dark blue eyes. Together they had a son named Skyler. Skyler had short blue hair and light blue eyes. Skyler wrote for the school newspaper and worked on the yearbook.
Kento married a girl named Kia. Kia had short pink hair and bright red eyes. Together they had a son named Silas. Silas had dark blue, almost gray, hair and dark red eyes. Silas was on the school boxing and wrestling team.
Cale married a girl named Casey. Casey had long silver hair and hazel eyes. Together they had a son named Denall. Denall had silver hair and blue-green eyes. Denall loved art and attended the club at his school every week.
Sehkmet married a girl named Avery. Avery had short golden orange hair and lime green eyes. Together they had a son named Luc. Luc had short golden orange hair and forest green eyes. Luc was on the lacrosse and basketball team.
Dais married a girl named Espian. Espian had chin length light green hair and light purple eyes. Together they had a son named Sano. Sano had shoulder length white hair and light blue eyes. He worked backstage on the drama shows that were performed at his school.
Anubis married but lost her during childbirth with his daughter, Sakura. Sakura had shoulder length brown hair, her bangs pulled back, and had green eyes. She worked backstage for the drama club, as well as working on costumes and loved to write stories. She also likes to be around her boyfriend, Ryan.

One day the wives took all the children to the edge of the lake to play. All the kids were three except for Ardeth and Sakura who were two. All the families were living in Mia's mansion. Yulie however had a small house about ten minutes away.
Everyone was having a good time. The kids were exploring every new thing they could. They were packing up to leave when a bunch of soldiers appeared from the ground. The wives grabbed their kids and started to run, but was stopped by two boys and a girl in strange looking armor. "Are these the ones were supposed to pick up?" Asked the girl.
"I guess so." Answered one of the guys. He pulled out a small sack of purple dust and sprayed it over them. They fell over in a deep sleep. For some reason Sakura is the only one who was not effected by it.
It has been a five hours sense their wives left and the Ronins were beginning to worry. A knock came to the door and Rowen got up to answer it. "Hello." Said a girl standing at the door. She had long blue hair pulled into a ponytail that had a bow around it. Her sparkling blue eyes showed life and happiness "Is your wife home?"
"No, her and my bodies wives took are kids to the lake." He watched as her face turned to pure fear.
"How long have they been gone?"
"Oh, five hours. Were a little worried, but they are probably just having fun." He watched as she ran off as fast as she could towards the lake. Rowen yelled for the others and they hurried towards there as well.
She arrived to find the women tied up together and the children being held by the soldiers. She hid behind a large tree. She could fell them and the Ronins were coming.
The Ronins arrived and were startled at what they found. Their wives just must have regained consciousness because they were screaming and crying. Anubis was the only one staring at his child. His wife had died when Sakura was born. "Talpa, come out." He yelled.
"Very good Anubis." He laughed. He appeared in front of their wives. "Welcome Ronins and warlords. I would like to introduce to you my new warlords. This is Sumire. She holds the armor of the destroyer." Sumire had shoulder length blond hair and dark cold black eyes. "This is Yaten. Holder of the armor of death." Yaten had gray hair pulled back into a ponytail. His darker gray eyes showed pure evil. "Finally this is Duo. He is the holder of the armor of Misery." Duo had black hair and dark brown eyes.
"Talpa give us back are kids and wives." Ryo yelled. He looked into the eyes of his wife. "Ronin's power up. Armor of Wildfire… Dao Jin."
"Armor of Strata… Dao Inochi."
"Armor of Hardrock… Dao Gi."
"Armor of Halo…Dao chi."
"Armor of Torrent… Dao Shi."
"Armor of the Orge… Dao Chu."
"Armor of the Panther… Dao Ko."
"Armor of the Spider… Dao Nin."
"Armor of the Snake… Dao Tei."

Their wives eyes were wide with amazement and surprised. There stood their husbands in armors of many colors. "Well Guys lets kick some butt." Yelled Kento.
The Ronins attacked as on but stopped short when the soldiers put their children in front of them. "Monsters." Yelled Risa. Talpa disappeared and reappeared again front of her.
"Stay away from her." Yelled Ryo. He charged at Talpa, but he picked up Risa placing her in front of him. Ryo stopped just short of her nose. Talpa pushed her into Ryo and they fell in a pile.
Reappearing next to Sumire Talpa said, "All of you can collect your wives. I have no use to him."
"Give me back my child." Anubis yelled.
"A Anubis, you really want your brat back." Looking over at the babies. "Let's see which one is yours." He went down the line having an easy time with some and some he had to really look at. Then he stopped at the only girl. "Anubis you can not be the one cursed with a girl, could you."
Anubis was just about to scream bloody murder when, "Master Talpa," came the tree's. Lady Kayura walked up to Talpa and bowed. "I am here to serve you, master." Talpa gave a smile as he turned to his Warlords.
"Which one of you, was the one to do this for me?" Sumire stepped up quickly. She was a major suck up and did whatever she could to look good in Talpa's eyes. "Sumire, great job. You have defiantly pleased me."
"Master," Lady Kayura said, "I bring you part of the ancients staff." Talpa looked it over. It looked like it always did, yet something he felt made it feel not right. Lady Kayura as if sensing his confusion said, "After you were defeated the first time it separated. Anubis holds one other part. There was a third light, but we are not sure if it was part of the staff. Without all the pieces then the staff is very week."
A flash of light appeared and Anubis's staff appeared in front of him. It flew high above all of their heads and they starred up in amazement. Talpa was having a hard time holding onto the staff in his hands and yelled as it flew into the sky joining the other. A third one joined in a second later. In another flash of light it joined together to make the ancients staff with all it's power and more still to be discovered.
They all watched as the staff flew to the hand of a girl. Her short light blue and purple hair matched her light green eyes. She looked no older then sixteen. A smiled formed on her lips. "Ahaho, Nakata tu des nom bayo." The staff floated in between her hands giving off intense beam of light. Everyone covered his or her eyes. Even Talpa was forced to.
After a minute the light stopped and cries came from the women. Not only was the girl gone, but so where the children. "What have you done?" Asked Talpa as he turned to his new warlords.
"Sir, technically it is not our fault because the soldiers were the ones holding them and they have been destroyed." Said Duo.
"Anubis, stop pretending to be a fool." Said Cale.
"Where are our kids?" Yelled Rowen.
"Lady Kayura," Said Talpa thinking to turn to his last hope, but to his surprise she was gone. He clenched his fist.
"Lets go." Yelled Ryo.
Ryo, Cye, and Sehkmet attacked Sumire. Rowen, Kento and Cale attacked Yaten. Sage and Dais attacked Duo. While Anubis took on Talpa. "If anything happens to my daughter I promise you that I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU.' He screamed as their weapons hit.
"How flattering." Talpa mocked. "To bad you won't live to do this."
"Flare Up Now." Talpa jumped out of the way of Ryo's attack just barely being hit. "Lets do it guys. FLARE UP NOW."
"ARROW SHOCK WAVE."
"SUPER WAVE SMASHER."
"IRON ROCK CRUSHER."
"THUNDER BOLT CUT."
"BLACK LIGHTNING SLASH."
"SNAKE FANG STRIKE."
"WEB OF DECEPTION."
"QUAKE WITH FEAR."
All of their attacks were aimed at Talpa. "This is not over yet." Yelled Talpa as he and his badly injured warlords disappeared. The attacks past over his spot and disappeared.
The Ronins helped their wives up and held them as they cried for their children. 'Anubis,' Came a voice in his. :Who's there?: 'I see you are all tired from your battle.' :Who are you?: Anubis repeated more sternly. 'Listen to me. Your children are safe.' :What do you mean?: 'They are back at Mia's house with Lady Kayura.' :Thank you.: 'Yes, but listen. Lady Kayura is not to be blamed for what happened. She was working for me.' :Yes and I can't say thank you enough.: 'Anubis make sure the others know.' :I will and who are you?:
No answer came and he ran towards the house. The others saw what he was doing and followed. Arriving at the house the women scooped their children in their arms. Lady Kayura was holding Anubis's daughter. He took her and held her tight and for once felt something he had only felt once and though he never would again. He felt love for someone else then his wife sense she died.
Days past and the Ronins where on guard at all time. One day the women collected their husbands into the living room while the kids were sleeping. "I am sure you are wondering why we want to talk to you all together." Risa said.
"We have been talking sense that incident with Talpa." Jessica said.
"We don't feel safe here." Said Calica.
"We fear for our children's life more than ours." Said Sarafu.
"We think that we need to leave." Said Kia. The shock on their faces showed they were not ready for this.
"We still love you with all of our hearts." Said Casey.
"As soon as you destroy Talpa and the dynasty we will return." Said Avery.
"I am sorry we can not even tell you were we are going." Said Espian.
"We ask that you do not try to find us or write to the kids." Said Jessica.
"You are still their father's," Said Risa kneeling in front of Ryo. "We just need to think about their safety.
Espian lifted Anubis's face with her hands. "I will take Sakura with me. I know my sister would want it that way. However, the decision is up to you."
Anubis had so many things going through his head at once. He saw the face of his wife and how she had wanted a baby so bad. Now she was dead and he couldn't change that. Sadly he shook his head yes.
Everyone in the rooms soften and felt bad for him. They knew that Sakura was all he had left and did not want to take the chance that he would not be there while she grows up and in case the dynasty found them. Anubis slowly got up and went for a walk.
The next morning the Ronins stood with their wives and kids saying goodbye. Anubis was standing in the corner whispering something to Sakura. "I want you to know I am doing this to keep you safe. I do not want you to be hurt in any way. I want you to have this." He pulled out a gold locket and placed it around her neck. "Please forgive me and remember we will be together again some day." Anubis handed Sakura to Espian.
"I will protect her with my life Anubis. Plus my sister is watching over her."
"I know and thanks." Anubis turned around and walked out of the station. Never looking back.

Sakura and Espian arrived at a diner at six. Mr. and Mrs. Hishana stood in the lobby with their son Ryan. Sakura slipped her hand into his and they sat down.
Dinner was served and Espian brought up why she invited them to dinner. "All of our kids are going to spend the year by our husbands. This will be the first time in thirteen years they will have seen or heard from them."
"That is good." Said Mrs. Hishana.
"Yes." Agreed Mr. Hishana. "But if you don't mind me asking, why did you need to tell us this over dinner."
"Dad." Said Ryan. He gave an apologizing look to Sakura.
"Well you see," Espian began. "It is for a full year and as you know Sakura and Ryan have been together for two years now and that is a long time for them to be apart. So it is ok with her father if he comes with her for the year." Mr. and Mrs. Hishana exchanged glances. "It is in a good school district."
"What school is it exactly?" Mrs. Hishana asked. Ryan was supposed to go to a private school this year, but could not because his father got hurt at work and had to quit. Now he is not being paid enough and they could no longer afford it.
"I believe it is Blue Star High." Mrs. Hishana looked as if she was about to pass out.
"Espian, you are aware that it is the second best public high school in the entire country." Mrs. Hishana was a teacher and wanted her son to go to a better school. "It is ok if he goes." Ryan and Sakura smiled and squeezed each other's hand. Mr. Hishana gave a look like he was not sure, but his wife gave him a look that could kill. "So when does he leave."
While their parents talked Ryan and Sakura went outside. "I am so glade you are coming." She said resting her head on his solder.
"Hey, we are lucky it is such a good high school or my mom, might not have let me gone." She gave him a smile.
"I am glad. You are the only one I can talk to. I don't know why though."
"Hey I like that and I wouldn't change that for the world."

The week went by really fast. The night before everyone was packing. Sakura was going through the study looking for books she would like to read. "Do you want help." Asked a boy.
"Yea, thanks Skyler." Skyler had short blue hair and light blue eyes. He was very smart. Sakura got along with him the best out of anyone in the house. He was shy like she was, but did loosen up after awhile. "I am looking for those four books by J.R.R. Tolkien. Also, "April Morning" by Howard Fast, "Circle of Magic" series by Tamora Pierce, and "Princess Nevermore", but I forget the author."
"Ok, sure." He slowly began to climb a ladder to reach the top of one of the bookshelves. With eight women that all have high paying jobs, they had a lot of extra money. They believed that books and a computer are good things so one large room was a beautiful study. All along the walls were shelves filled with books that reached the ceiling. They had to use ladders to reach the top. Each kid had a desk were they did their schoolwork and had a computer. "Here," he handed a book to her.
"What's this?" Said a boy. He had dark blue almost a dark gray colored hair and dark red eyes. He flipped through it. "Skyler, why are you trying to fill Sakura's head with this junk." From his back pocket he pulled out a super man comic. "Now this is good reading."
"Silas, give that book back." Said Skyler very annoyed that he had interrupted them.
"Come on Sakura. Do you really want to read this junk?"
She grabbed the book from him. It was on the civil war. "Skyler I didn't know we had this." She turned the book over. She really liked to read about wars.
"It was on sale at the book store, so I thought I would buy it for you for an early birthday present. I know you read "Killer Angels", so I thought you would like "Gods and Generals."
"I love it." She said hugging him. Skyler was shocked because she normally she did not show this much emotion. She walked out of the room with her books and finished packing.
