17. WHAT HAPPENED?

"Calm down, tell me what happened to Destiny one more time." Aunt
Elizabeth stated with a calm voice. Sage could sense her frustration
and worry deep in her heart as she stood in front of the five of them.
Mia was sitting there hugging her and looking like she was ready to
cry. Ryo was explaining what had happened and was very angry. Cye
was standing by Kento and Uncle John. Caylob was standing by
Rowen with his arms folded and his eyes closed. Sage was paying
close attention to him standing there as if he weren't worried about
Destiny at all. Sage looked deep into his heart, it was just as he
thought, tough on the outside but gentle on the inside. Sage knew he
was worried about Destiny, he just didn't show it. Sage then looked at
Rowen who was standing there shaking from fear of what happened
to Destiny.

"And when the lights flickered, she just disappeared into thin air." Ryo
finished telling Aunt Elizabeth what happened downstairs. Aunt
Elizabeth looked at Uncle John. Uncle John had an angry look on his
face that scared everyone. Even Ryo wanted to be in another room.
The only people who weren't scared were Caylob and Aunt Elizabeth.
They all stared at Uncle John waiting for his reply of the look. He
looked away from Aunt Elizabeth and looked at everyone like he would
say something.

"Destiny, as you know, is the daughter of my sister. Therefore she is
the heir to her powers. In order to get those powers, she must visit to
the spirit world to visit her mother." Uncle John said to his niece’s dear
friends. Kento looked up from the floor.

"Wait a second, that can't be possible," Kento blurted out with a look
of confusion.

"Destiny's mother is dead so that means Destiny can't get the powers
of her mother, right," Cye said also confused. Rowen was still shaking
and wasn't looking at anyone. He kept looking at his hands which were
the last things that touched her before she vanished. Mia walked over
and hugged him and told him everything would be fine. Mia was calm
considering that Destiny, her best friend in the whole world, was gone
and nobody knew exactly where she was. Well everyone but Aunt
Elizabeth, Uncle John and anyone else with this power that the chosen
ones in the family had. Mia knew where Destiny was for she had this
awesome power even though she wasn't real family. Somehow she had
gotten it when she was a child when her and Destiny had wondered
too far into the woods while camping. She didn't tell anyone but Destiny
and Destiny's family. She couldn't tell Ryo and the others about her
power, but she could tell them where she was.

"Wrong Cye, Destiny can only get the power when her mother is
dead, the only way she can get this power is to go where her mother
is," Mia answered Cye and Kento's confusion.

"But how is that possible Mia, and how do you know all of this?" Ryo
asked wondering how she had the knowledge of this. Sage saw a look
of worry in Mia's eyes as they starred at Ryo.

"Ryo, I don't think that's important right now, we just need to know how
to get Destiny back here and how to find her." Sage said standing up
for Mia. Mia looked at him with gratefulness and asked Aunt Elizabeth
to finish what they wanted to find out.

18. WHO ARE THEY?

"Destiny is in the spirit world where only spirits of the dead may call
forth the living if needed," Aunt Elizabeth started, "The only way you'll
get her back is if you wait,"

"But you must wait for her in a certain place," Uncle John finished the
important information that was needed.

"Where do we have to wait," Rowen said when that remark caught
his attention immediately. "You must tell me where to go. Please."

"You must wait where she gets her enjoyment, where she falls
asleep in her dreams, where she gets her energy from like it were a
fountain of water, where she stands with the one she will be with forever
in her life." replied a voice that was never heard by the Ronins ever before
but somehow seemed familiar. Rowen knew where it was coming from.
Ryo noticed that everyone in the funeral home but Aunt Elizabeth, Uncle
John, Mia, Caylob, Rowen, Ice, Malistar, Sage, Cye, Kento, himself, and
two young women that looked to be the same age as Mia and Destiny that
were standing on the other side of the room, were somehow frozen in time.
Mia noticed the two girls right away. It was Aimee and Miranie. They
were Destiny's cousins. Cye saw 3 young men and 2 young women that
were also in their teens. Cye told Mia and she turned to see more of
Destiny's cousins. They were Aiden, Allen, Elise, and Karura.

"How are they still able to move freely when the time has frozen mother?"
said the youngest looking girl of the 7 teens there. She was the as tall as
Kento, very slender like Destiny. She had light purple hair that came down
to her shoulders. "Only people with powers can move through this time
warp right?"

Cye's mouth dropped in surprise to see the beautiful young girl. Sage
didn't pay any mind to the women. He was worried about Rowen and
knew he was in need of a friends care. Rowen was still staring at
Uncle John. "You must tell me when she'll be at that place and how
much time I have left to get there. I must know now so I can get there.

"You have until the same time that your eyes met with love for the first
time," Uncle John answered. Rowen remembered the dock in the lake.
He ran to Mia then he stopped in his tracks. "Did you say only people
who only have powers can move through the time warp."

"Yes I did why?" Replied the purple haired girl.

"If that's true then how can Mia move," Rowen asked. Mia's eyes widened.
She suddenly tried to act like she was frozen along with the other frozen
people. Everyone looked at her with confusion.

"Mia, you haven't told them?" said a tall, white haired girl. She was also
slender. She had silver eyes, which seemed very unusual like Sage's violet
eyes. She was as tall as Kento. She noticed Sage looking at her and replied.
"Look Halo, this isn't the time to flirt with girls, I thought you were worried
about your friend."

Sage starred blankly and replied to her comment. "I am worried and how did
you know the name of my armor and what I was thinking?"

The girl walked up to him like she wasn't afraid. "I can read minds and no I'm
not afraid of your power, I've got my own magistry." Walked back to Mia who
was trying to explain to Ryo about her power. Sage stared in surprise and looked
over at Caylob.

19. DESTINY'S A LEADER.

"What's her name?" Sage asked while walking towards Caylob. Caylob looked up at him. Sage saw that same look in Caylob's eyes as Destiny did before she fought his grandfather. Caylob's eyes suddenly went back to normal before he answered.

"Her name is Karura, she's my cousin," He looked over at her standing by Mia. Then looked back at Sage. "Mia's been part of this family since her and Destiny were born from what my mom told me. I guess they were born in the same hospital but Destiny was late. She was supposed to be born in September but mom felt something wrong so she waited until she felt it was right."

"What was wrong with her?" Sage asked getting into what was going on. He looked at Rowen who was listening to Caylob as well. A girl with short pink hair came over and told them. She was a little taller than Rowen and had cerulean blue eyes.

"She had a small hole in her heart and she had very weak bones. She was the only late bloomer in our family. Since Aunt Melany was the oldest, she was crowned the leader of our clan when Grandma and Grandpa died. Then when Destiny was born, she was claimed heir to leadership even though Aiden and Allen are the oldest." The girl said while pointing to identical twins standing by Uncle John. "We call them the witch cats when they transform into cats."

"You're such an eavesdropper Aimee." Said the a little boy that was hanging from
the fan, which was turned off, He had short brown hair with long bangs. He was
taller than Caylob by a couple of inches. He had dark brown eyes with green outlines around his pupils. "You should try staying into your own business. It's quite easy."

Ignoring her little brother she walked over to Rowen and gave him a big hug. He
didn't seem to care very much because he just stood there and let her hug him. She looked at him and wiped his tears of love away. "She'll be fine when you get her back, the only difference will be that she's gonna be a leader and a little goofy for a while."

Rowen looked at her with concern. "I don't care what she comes back as, I just want her back in my arms. I can't say she'll be safe but I'm gonna try as hard as I can to protect her from harm." Rowen walked out of the room and out the front door to the porch. He looked up at the sky that was the most prettiest blue he had ever seen the night sky before. He saw a patch of stars and connected them to make the shape of Destiny's face. "I'll find you Destiny and after I do, I'll never let you go again."

20. THEY'RE BACK.

Rowen turned when he heard the sound of a female voice laughing. It was a very familiar laugh. When Rowen turned, he saw a women dressed in a dark red. He starred in disbelief. His shock turned to hate quickly.

"Kayllyn!" He scowled at the sight of her. Kayllyn had a tiny smile on her face. She had a ruby red dress on with gold markings on it. Her eyes were as red as the fire that was set up in a fireplace. She walked up to him slowly and sexy-like.

"Well hello Strata, how's your girlfriend doing, what was her name again, Pestiny," She insulted. She snapped her fingers and Ari and Aeva showed up. Ari was in a saphire blue dress with gold markings on it. Her eyes as cold and blue as the ocean on a summer day. Aeva was wearing an emerald green dress with gold markings on it. Her eyes were warm and as green as the leaves on a forest tree on a warm summer day. Ari walked up to Rowen and grabbed his face.

"You poor thing, first you lose you girlfriend, get her back, and then you lose her again. Life just isn't fair for you is it." She let his face go and walked away. She looked at Aeva and then walked inside followed by Aeva and Kayllyn. Ice saw them and started to growl. Malistar and White Blaze caught on and started to growl as well. When Ari saw the three animals she started to freak. "Oh great now there's three beasts. I can't handle this."

"Ari this is no time to chicken out, the only reason we've come is to make amends and try to help so stop being a fraidy cat." Aeva said grabbing ahold of Ari's arm. Sage saw them and nudged Ryo's arm. Ryo looked in the same direction and looked at them with anger.

"What do you want now, we got rid of Talpa, the only thing we want is for you to leave us alone." He saw the way they were dressed and thought of what they were up to.

"Do we look like we're dressed for fighting." Kayllyn asked with a smart allic voice. She walked up to them. "We've come to make amends, we're sorry for causing you trouble, we didn't know that those guys were so cruel and wanted to hurt you and Destiny, all I know is that I'm very sorry."

"I'm sorry as well, I didn't know Talpa wanted to kill, I jus thought that he wanted new warriors." Aeva answered with a sweet voice. "Will you please forgive us and in return we'll help you find your friend and help you fight battles. We aren't evil anymore, and I know that you really are hurt from all of our rudeness and cruelty,"

"I don't know if we should trust them Ryo, they do seem sincere, but how can we tell for sure," Sage said with caution in his voice. Ryo nodded but remembered that only Cye could see the truth. He saw that Cye was walking over to the three once evil girls that they fought before. Cye looked into their eyes and searched through their minds to see if they were telling the truth. He turned back to Ryo and the others. He nodded.

"They are telling the truth," Cye said while walking back to where he was standing before he moved. Uncle John and all of Destiny's family stared surprised. The only two who weren't shocked were Aiden and Allen. Allen looked at Cye and spoke to him.

"You are truly a great warrior in truth and in loyalty." Allen told him. Cye looked at him with shock. He looked at him thinking about how he knew and then Cye answered himself. 'He must be physic since he's got a twin'. Allen looked at him and answered. "Yes I am physic and my brother is as well."

Ryo and Kento stared in shock as they heard Cye and Allen's conversation. Sage wasn't that surprised since he had a friend who could speak to his dead twin through his mind. Mia was talking to Elise and Miranie. Cye was talking to Aiden and Allen but he was still watching Miranie. He watched her every move. Rowen walked in and asked Mia if they could leave. She nodded and invited the others to her house. They all agreed to come and they left to go to Mia's house. Uncle John, Aunt Elizabeth, Kento, and Cye rode together in Aunt Elizabeth's car. Aiden and Allen ran to Mia's house. Karura and Miranie rode on Ice's back to Mia's house. Caylob and Kolin rode on Malistar's back. Ryo rode on White Blaze's back. Mia, Rowen, Sage, Elise, Aimee, Ari, Kayllyn, and Aeva rode in Mia's jeep. They would soon get Destiny back no matter what it took. Rowen was
destined to get her back and never let her go ever again
