A New Beginning

Part 4

13. LETS GO

"Are you sure your OK with this Destiny?" Rowen asked her as
they ate their lunch.

"I'm sure Rowen it's better I go and say good-bye to her and
meet my brother, besides you'll all be there with me." She
replied getting up from her seat. "So lets just drop it there. OK."

Rowen nodded as she kissed him on the cheek. She ran to go
get dressed for the funeral. When they all finished they went to
go get ready as well. Destiny wanted everyone to go with her.
She only wanted Ryo to leave White Blaze for a strange reason.
She first said it was ok but after an hour of thinking she said no.
Destiny came down in a Teal dress that she wore to the Prom
last month. Rowen came down in a Black tuxedo and Dark Blue
shirt underneath. Sage had a Black tuxedo and Green shirt
underneath. Ryo had a Black tuxedo with a Red shirt
underneath. Mia came down in a Red dress from the Prom
also. Cye came down in a Black tuxedo with a Baby Blue shirt
underneath. Kento came down in a Black tuxedo with an
Orange shirt underneath. White Blaze came down with a bow
in his mouth. He wanted to go with them really bad. Destiny
looked at him with a look of thought.

"I guess he can come, but he has to stay outside or on a leash
or the guests will flip." She answered to White Blaze's sad look.

"OK I'll go get the leash," Ryo replied to her generous offer.

"Everyone get in the jeep so we can go," Mia said as she
grabbed her keys. Mia and Destiny sat in front. Sage, Ryo, and
Rowen sat in the middle seat. Cye and Kento sat in the back and
White Blaze ran behind them. Destiny was giving Mia the
directions as they drove on. When they got to the funeral home
Ryo put the leash on White Blaze. He didn't like it but he knew
there was a reason. They walked up the stairs and up to the
door.

"Stay here for a moment, I'm going to get my Aunt Elizabeth,"
Destiny informed, "I'll see if you can come in White Blaze."

White Blaze purred as she scratched his ear. Destiny walked
inside and started her search. She passed tons of people that
she knew from her childhood. They didn't seem to reconize her.
She passed a women who's face she couldn't forget. The older
women looked at Destiny with a smile on her face. Destiny
walked towards the older women.

"Aunt Elizabeth," Destiny cried out as she hugged her Aunt.

"Destiny," The women said quietly as she pulled away from the
hug, "Destiny, my how you've grown."

"I missed you so much, but I have one question to ask you,"
She informed her dear Aunt. "Mia and some friends came with
me and one of them has a Tiger,"

"Oh really, well take me to these friends of yours, I want to see
Mia, I haven't seen her since I last saw you."

"Follow me," Destiny grabbed her Aunt's hand. Destiny saw her
Uncle John standing by the casket her mother was in, but she
wanted to get her friends settled with first. Destiny and her Aunt
got to the door and Destiny opened it so her Aunt could go first.
Everyone looked up as the women walking out looked at the big
Tiger.

14. REUNITED

"He's a beautiful animal, as long as he behaves he can come in,
but I should warn you that there are two other rather large cats
in there you should keep him away from." She said as she pet
White Blaze on the back. Destiny looked up in surprise as she
heard the word CATS. She walked up to her Aunt.

"You don't mean..." She stopped to see if Aunt Elizabeth knew
what she was talking about. Aunt Elizabeth nodded. With that,
Destiny ran towards the door. All anyone saw was a teal and
light brown blur. Mia looked towards Aunt Elizabeth.

"Hello Aunt Elizabeth," Mia said. "How have you been?"

"Just fine Mia. And you?" Aunt Elizabeth replied.

"I've been better, I feel really bad that Destiny's mother died. It
has been a long time since I've last seen you," Mia said as she
walked up to Ryo.

"I know it has, I last saw you and Destiny when you two were
just 6 years old, you two were inseperable," Aunt Elizabeth
replied to the girl who she thought of as her niece.

"We still are inseperable, were like sisters," Mia replied to her
so called Aunt. Kento looked at them with a look on his face. He
wanted to know what Destiny was so phsyced about.

"Can we go inside?, I want to go see what Destiny was so
excited about." Kento asked. Aunt Elizabeth looked at him and
nodded.

"Let's go inside so we can get introduced and you can see what
she's so excited about." Aunt Elizabeth replied to Kento with a
smile. Rowen opened the door and let everyone in. When he
came in he looked for Destiny. He spotted her near a beautiful
white Panther. She was hugging it and it was snuggling against
her. He stayed right where he was when he saw the giant man
next to her. The others were introducing themselves so he
walked over there to introduce himself.Destiny was still hugging
the white Panther. Aunt Elizabeth pointed to Destiny and the
Panther. Everyone looked in that direction.

"That's what she was so excited about, that Panther was her
mothers, Her name is Ice, but Ice was more like Destiny's more
than anyones, Destiny would fall asleep somewhere and Ice
would end up taking her to bed and slept with her protecting her
from her father." Aunt Elizabeth starred at Mia and went on. "You
two would play with her all day long."

"Those were some really great memories. Sometimes I wish
we could live them again."

"In a way you can, but it's your choice. You see since Destiny's
mother is dead now, Ice has a number of choices of who she
want's to go with. She can go with Uncle Johnand I, Destiny and
you, or a zoo. I think she would be much happier with you guys."

"One things for sure her and White Blaze would have fun," Cye
commented with a grin.

"She might but Ice is very independant but that might change if
she stays with you, also she is very protective of her brother
who is here as well with Caylob." Aunt Elizabeth replied to Cye.

"Where is this Caylob kid, Destiny has been wanting to meet
him," Ryo asked while starring at Rowen who was starring at Destiny still.
Aunt Elizabeth looked at him with a frown and answered.

"He's very heartbroken about his mother and is staying in the
coffee and tea room down stairs," Aunt Elizabeth said kindly. She
was watching the boys as they grew pale at the sight of the giant
man coming closer with Destiny and Ice. Destiny came up to
Rowen and hugged him. She saw he was afraid of her 7 foot
Uncle John. She stepped back and introduced them.

"And this is Rowen Hashiba, my boyfriend," Destiny finished as
she stepped by Rowen. Uncle John looked at Rowen and held
out his hand.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. Hashiba, I take it your taking care of
my lovely Niece," Uncle John said with a grin. Rowen looked up
at the Giant and answered.

"With all of my heart sir, and you may call me Rowen." Rowen
replied as he saw Destiny walk over and hug her Uncle. Then she
walked over to Ice.

"Everyone I would like you to meet Ice, the Panther Mia and I
grew up with practically." Destiny said as she looked at Mia. Mia
starred at Ice and noticed she was alot bigger than she
remembered. She was a little smaller than White Blaze and
figured that she was about 832 years old by now. 'She shouldn't
get much bigger than that'

"She's beautiful Destiny, It's very rare to find white Panthers,"
Sage said as he approached the Panther, "May I pet her?"

"Go ahead she's very friendly." Destiny said with a smile. Aunt
Elizabeth looked at her Niece and remembered that she inherited
the power from her mother but was alot stronger.

"How has your training been going dear?" Aunt Elizabeth asked
with a sense of other power in the room besides the family
power. Destiny looked at the others. 'Can I tell her about you
guys?' she asked the others with the mind link. They all nodded.
She looked at her Aunt.

"I've gotten stronger and I have new armor," Destiny continued
on, "And it also seems that we have some really powerful men
here as well, The Ronin Warriors,"

"The Ronin Warriors!?!?" Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle John said
very surprised, "The Legendary Warriors, your armors were
made from the evil dynasty master Talpa am I right." Uncle John
said and bowed before the young boys.

"Yes, you don't have to bow though." Ryo said flattered along
with the others. "We just got done with Talpa for the last time,
but it was Destiny who destroyed him, we just held back the
soldiers."

"She's gotten that strong over 10 years, how hard have you
been training, you know you shouldn't train too hard or you'll end
up being too independant and stubborn like your Aunt Kara. We
don't want you to run off and never hear from you again like her."
Aunt Elizabeth warned her.

"I know that," Destiny said as she frowned. She then looked up
and smiled. "I'm not training hard though, I know my limits,"

"That's good," Uncle John said with a sigh.

"Is Caylob here?" Destiny asked as she frowned looking at her
family going by with tears in their eyes. Her friends looked at her.
Cye wanted to start crying when she turned to see a casket on
the other side of the room. She turned back to her Aunt and
Uncle. "I'd really like to meet him before he comes home with us,
I do want to get to talk to him."

"He's downstairs, he's really upset about this." Aunt Elizabeth
answered with a frown.

"Destiny, before you go to see him you should say good bye to
your mother." Uncle John suggested as he walked over to his
wife.

"What about Ice? Where is she gonna go?" Destiny asked as
she hugged her dear Panther.

"She's coming home with us like your brother and her brother,"
Mia said with a smile. She came to hug Ice before Destiny went
over to the casket. Uncle John held on to Ice's leash to wait for
Destiny. Rowen walked over to see Destiny's mother with
Destiny. He looked at her and pictured her without scars and
wrinkles. Destiny looked just like her mother only younger. Sage
and the others came over to see Destiny's mother. Mia starred
at the women who used to bake such good cakeest and treated
her like her own daughter. Mia was going to miss the smell she
always smelt when she was around Destiny's mother. Destiny
reached for her mother's hand. She held it tightly and then set it
back in place. She kissed her mother on the forehead. She
whispered in her ear.

"Arigato for loving me mother. I love you and rest in peace,"
Destiny whispered in her mother's ears. She backed away and
faced her Uncle and Aunt. "Let's go see that brother of mine."

15. WE FINALLY MEET

Destiny walked down the stairs silently. Rowen, Sage, Ryo,
Cye, Mia, and Ice came down with her. Kento was upstairs
pigging out on the food. Destiny told them to wait on the steps
when she heard a young boy crying. She unhooked Ice's leash
from her collar and let her run in the room first. Destiny heard the
other Panther purring as Ice ran up to it.

"Ice, who let you go?" Said a boy with sorrow in his voice.
Destiny heard the voice and walked from behind the wall.

"I did," Destiny replied to her younger brother. "It's nice to
finally meet you Caylob."

"How did you know my name," Caylob asked as he held his
black Panther back. "And how did you get her to be so tame
around you?"

"Let's just say I grew up with her until I was six, and I do have
informants who tell me about my brother," Destiny replied as she
came up to him and put her hand on his shoulder. "Like Aunt
Elizabeth and Uncle John."

"You're Destiny," Caylob remarked with bugged eyes. He
starred at the young women who claimed to be his sister who he
had never met before. "You are Destiny I remember the pictures
mom showed me. You look just like she did before she died."

Destiny looked at him with surprise. She started to cry at the
thought of never saying good-bye to her mother.
Caylob looked at her and ran towards her. Destiny
opened her eyes when she felt someone latch on to her
body and squeeze. She hugged her little brother back and called her
friends in to meet him. Rowen came in first and wiped away her
tears but she pulled away and looked at him with sorrow.

"It's ok, i'll take care of it." She told him. "What's more important is
that you meet my family." She turned to Caylob and put her hand on
his shoulder. Then looked towards Rowen. "Rowen this is my little
brother Caylob." Rowen came up and held his hand out.

"It's nice to meet you Caylob, I'm Rowen Hashiba," Rowen introduced
himself to the young boy. Caylob shook hands with him and looked at
him with a strange look. Rowen and Destiny saw the look and knew what
he was doing. He was reading his mind and making sure he was a good
guy. After a minute of silence Caylob knew he was a good guy and smiled
happily.

16. WHO'S THAT

Destiny was sitting on the couch with Rowen and Ice sat by her feet.
Rowen was still a little iffy about Ice. He saw Caylob sitting in the chair petting
his black panther. Destiny didn't reconize the black panther and wondered
where he came from.

"Where'd did he come from and what's his name?" Destiny asked looking at
the smaller panther. Caylob stopped petting his panther and answered Destiny.

"His name is Malistar and he's Ice's little brother. Mom's panther had him two
days after I was born," Caylob pat Malistar on the shoulder and whispered in
his ear. Malistar got up and walked toward Destiny. Malistar passed White Blaze
and Ryo on the way to Destiny. Ryo held on tighter to White Blaze's leash when
Malistar looked at him. Malistar saw that Ryo didn't want a fight and nodded at
White Blaze. Everyone but Destiny and Caylob were suprised he did that. Malistar
walked like he was at a show and held his head high. He walked like a champion
and walked with a very nice stride. When Malistar got to Destiny he looked at her
and knudged her hand. When she pet him on the head she heard his deap purr. She
giggled when his ear flinched and wiggled every time she pet him.

"He's so cute and he's very friendly for a male panther," She kept petting Malistar
and talked to Caylob. "Usually there very aggresive near other male cats, you must
have trained him well." Caylob looked up at her and nodded. Kento came down and
saw Malistar. He froze immediatlly when Malistar got up and cornered him. "He's
very protective too,"

"This a friend of yours Destiny?" Caylob asked Destiny as he stood up to make
sure Malistar would listen to him. Destiny saw him stand like a strong trainer and
saw that he was very protective and knobble as well. She could see where Malistar
got it from. Destiny stood up and looked at Kento and giggled. Everyone saw what
she was laughing at and started to laugh with her. Caylob and Kento were the only
ones not laughing. Destiny finally stopped laughing at Kento and walked up to him.

"Hey Kento you might want to finish the chicken on your lip." Destiny suggested
to her friend. "Did you walk around this place like that?"

"I guess so?" He replied to her as he finished the piece of chicken that hung off
his lip.

"Nobody saw you did they?" She asked with a really big expression.

"I don't know" He replied to her big shock. Destiny took a deep breath and let it
out slowly. Kento looked at her. "What?"

"Kento that's disrespect for the dead," Sage answered and rolled his eyes. Destiny
turned around and stared at him with disbelief. He saw her look and knew what kind
of reaction he would get. Destiny's eyes started to well up with tears. She turned to
him and opened her mouth. Suddenly her mouth closed with a snap. She started to
mumble as if someone was covering her mouth. The lights flickered and went out
all together. When they snapped back on Destiny was gone. Ryo stood up and
slammed his hand into the wall. Rowen shot up the stairs and ran through the crowd.
He shot out the door and ran into the parking lot. He looked up at the sky.

"DDDEEEESSTTTTTIIIIIINNNNYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed at the sky. As he
yelled he fell to his knees and punched the ground. The others heard his scream and
ran after him. Ice was already there sitting next to him and knugging his shoulder. It
was as if she was crying and that she trusted him lke she knew him forever. Caylob
saw instantly that he cared for her in all ways he could think of. Caylob walked over
and put his hand on Rowen's shoulder. Rowen looked up to see a strong young boy
who started to trust him.

"We'll find out where she is and get her back. She couldn't have gone far." Caylob
said trying to cheer up Rowen the best he could. Rowen saw he was very wise for
a 10 year old boy. Rowen nodded and got up off his knees. He looked up at the sky
once more and went back inside.
